The Johnnie High's Country Music Revue is a weekly country music variety show held at the Arlington Music Hall in Arlington, Texas in the center of the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex. Each Saturday we present a 1st CLASS FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT COUNTRY MUSIC SHOW. The show was created in 1974 by Johnnie High, a singer, musician, songwriter and businessman. In 1994, Johnnie purchased a former movie theater and turned it into the 1200 seat Arlington Music Hall as the permanent home for the JOHNNIE HIGH COUNTRY MUSIC REVUE.
The revue has been a tremendous success for thirty-four years. We feature an 8 member cast of singers, a band made up of professional musicians, and back-up singers. The show introduces at least 20 or 25 new performers each month. Country music fans from all over the world have visited us to see our amazing talent. The variety of shows we have each year includes our Fabulous 50s shows, Legends shows, Incredible Kids, New Faces shows and Gospel concerts. Over the years, Johnnie High's Country Music Revue has opened the door for many successful singers including LeAnn Rimes, Steve Holy, Lee Ann Womack, Gary Morris, Linda Davis, Box Car Willie, John Anderson, Shoji Tabuchi and many others. Johnnie's grandaughter, Ashley Smith, is a regular performer on the show and performs as co-host.
